Florian Gschwandtner was the first to make an online reservation for the new Audi e-tron. That was 2018, the year in which Austrian entrepreneur and angel investor decided to quit the CEO post at Runtastic, the company he co-founded in 2009 and sold to adidas for € 220 mio. in 2015. After a sabbatical year in 2019, the 37-year-old passionate athlete and avid car fan returned to the business stage to support promising start-ups such as the pet tracing app Tractive and the kids’ bike manufacturer Woom. Since August 2018, Florian has been part of the start-up TV show “2 Minuten 2 Millionen” to support the Austrian start-up scene. At the MQ! Virtual Innovation Summit he shares his thoughts on what makes start-ups successful and what it takes to follow through with a plan.

Having started to invest in start-ups together with his “Runtastic” co-founders, Florian continues to support upcoming companies with his experience and investments. Apart from “Woom” and “Tractive”, Florian is involved in projects like “Usergems”, “hello again”, “cashpresso”, “Storyclash”, “Ligaportal”, “Mimo”, “Pagestrip”, “Speedinvest”, “Startup300”, “Linemetrics”, “Original+”, “Vision1eyewear”, and “derBrutkasten”.​
