Chairman of the Board of Management and Member of the Board of Management for Technical Development and Product Lines at AUDI AG

50-year old Audi CEO Markus Duesman has spent nearly 30 years in the automotive industry, having started out as a design engineer at Mercedes-Benz after finishing his studies of mechanical enineering at Steinfurt University of Applied Sciences in 1991.
He then held various positions at BMW AG, before the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG appointed Markus Duesmann as Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG effective April 1, 2020. Since then, he has also had Board of Management responsibility for Volkswagen Group Research and Development. On June 18, 2020, he was additionally entrusted with responsibility for the China business of the AUDI AG and with Board of Management responsibility for Technical Development and Product Lines at AUDI AG.
At this year’s MQ! Virtual Innovation Summit, Markus Duesmann will talk about driving change in volatile time and the role the “Artemis” project will play within the Audi strategy.
