Dr. David Schmocker holds a doctor’s degree in Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Work, Organizational and Business Psychology from Zurich University. The specialist for digital teaching and learning is currently the project manager of a university-wide project to strengthen digital competencies of lecturers and researchers, from basic digital competencies to advanced skills like machine learning, AI, and digital ethics. The part-time high school teacher has led various interdisciplinary digitization projects and is interested in instructional design, digital and game-based learning. In his role as a serious game expert he is currently a member of an interdisciplinary research collaboration with Zeppelin University to evaluate how to foster value-oriented behavior in companies through video games.
